Strongly influenced by my architectural studies and the "Modern" movement, I design under the precept that form follows function. Seeking of new forms of design, I work with materials, which are commonly used in architecture, to create objects of daily use.
I have created a collection of wooden bags and accessories, as an experimental project into the fashion – architecture relationship, where form follows fuction. Among them the O wooden bags that have been awarded in an international design competition, with the Iron A' Design Award. Experimenting with wood, I am escaping from the classic fashion standards and introducing structures of modern industrial design. Wooden and other rigid surfaces that are rarely used in fashion create new forms and shapes. The patterns are not printed on fabrics but created by the texture of the materials I use.
